A Man Named Bubba – A Snap

The tournament lived up to its reputation as a maker of champions., or should we say Masters.  A snap hook is not just a snap hook when played on the second hole of a playoff during the Masters.  It’s a Snap Hook, soon to be practiced by many on their local links.  Holy salmon, what a shot.

Louis Oosthuizen, who played like a Champion for 19 holes, was, I think, stunned, yet a gentleman to the end.  He waited to congratulate Bubba, while Bubba was absorbed first in this caddy’s arms and then his mothers.  Mother’s?  Yup, I suppose good to see her support Bubba.  He just adopted a youngster, and his wife and son were home watching, sending in a picture shown in the Butler Cabin.  Bubba was still emotional; just mentioning his youngster brought more tears forth.

All very nice to see.  There were for the entire back nine a bunch of players who might have contended.  But Louis never let up, and Bubba could not be stopped.  Bubba Watson.  Great last name.

Now for KMO.  We might have to rename Three Eyed Buddha.

Nice work Bubba.
