LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A fugitive wanted on a federal warrant out of Benton, Illinois, for Distribution and Manufacturing Methamphetamine has been arrested by a team of law enforcement officers led by the U.S. Marshals in Louisville, KY. This warrant was issued June 4, 2003.

Donald Weidenburner was being sought on a federal arrest warrant charging him with Distribution and Manufacturing of Methamphetamine. The U.S. Marshal’s office in Louisville, Kentucky received an anonymous tip after Weidenburner was a featured fugitive at the end of NBC’s television show “Chase”.

Weidenburner was captured in Crestwood, KY by the U.S. Marshals Western Kentucky Regional Fugitive Task Force, which includes members of the Louisville Metro Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Kentucky State Police, and Kentucky State Probation and Parole. Weidenburner was taken into custody without incident at his place of employment.
